McKENZIE, Bertha Christina July 22, 1915 - November 22, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bertha McKenzie. After a courageous battle with cancer, Bertha passed away on November 22, 2010 at the age of 95 years. Bertha is lovingly remembered by her brother Arnold (Doreen) MacKenzie. She is also missed by her nephew Murray MacKenzie and her niece Heather (Ralph) Grabowski and their children Stefan, Heidi and Katrina. She also leaves her cousins Tom McRae and Ethel (Jack) Hilton and best friend Audrey Kolesar. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on Station 21 at the Leduc Community Hospital. A Service celebrating her life will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton on Saturday November 27, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 1Z2 or to a charity of one's choice.
