Homemaker AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Bertha Mae Jones, beloved wife of the late Willie A. Jones passed away at St. Joseph Hospital, Thursday, June 5, 2003. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker who resided in the Augusta area for 52 years. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Monday, June 9, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church with Reverend Charles E. Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughters, Willie Mae (Robert) Fryer, Alberta (Jake) Walker, Mildred (Percy) Griffin, and Frankie Morgan, all of Augusta; one son, Harrison Jones, Augusta; sister, Elizabeth Williams, Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
