MADER-ANDERSON, Bertha Lydia October 2, 1907 - February 3, 2007 (An exceptional lady - an exceptional life) Bertha Lydia Mader passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2007, in Edmonton at the Holyrood Nursing Home. She was fortunate to have family members by her side. She is survived by her children: Irene Haitsma of Red Deer, Lorne (Phyllis) Anderson of Stony Plain and Earl (Marilynn) Anderson of Edmonton; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren... all of whom she cherished. Also one sister Ruth Bablitz of Leduc and one brother Henry Huber of Calmar plus many nieces, nephews and friends (too numerous to count). They will all mourn her loss deeply. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ernestine Huber, her first husband of 23 years, Edwin Anderson, her second husband of 26 years, John Mader, her sister Elsie Miller, three brothers, Ernest, Mervin and Herman Huber as well as a great-grandson Cameron Anderson. The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the Holyrood Nursing Home staff for their warm and personable care. A Service will be held at the Chapel of Howard & McBride Westlawn on Saturday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. Please join us to celebrate her life.
