Mrs. Bertha L. Williams -Savannah- Mrs. Bertha L. Williams, 59, had her transition Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. A native of Allendale, South Carolina, she attended the public schools of Chatham County. Mrs. Williams was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Unity and served as Pastor of Glorified Church of God in Unity in Allendale, SC. She was employed with Savannah Morning News for over 20 years until she retired. Survivors: two brothers, Deacon John (Mae) Brisbon and Elder Willie (Hattie) Williams all of Savannah; two sisters, Mary Wilbon of Savannah and Mattie Ward of Allendale, SC; a niece that she raised Cherilissa Brown of Savannah; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, November 18, 2006 at True Light Pentecostal Church, 1010 E. Duffy St., Bishop C.F. Roberson, Pastor, Bishop Leroy Jackson, Jr., Eulogist. In state: 9:30 a.m., until hour of service. Public viewing: Friday, November 17th from 12 Noon-7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
