MERRIMACK - Bertha K. Henderson, 79, of Merrimack, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua after a brief illness. She was born on May 9, 1934, in Newport, to the late Oscar and Impi (Kiviaho) Kainu. Mrs. Henderson was predeceased by her husband Rene Henderson in 1991; a daughter, Kay Henderson; and a sister, Kay Brown. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Guy Henderson, and Lee and his wife Valerie Henderson, both of Merrimack; six grandchildren; two brothers, Lauri Kainu of Florida, and Oscar Kainu Jr. of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews. . services: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, July 10, at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
