JOHNSON, BERTA MAE, 87 Cross City - Berta Mae Hill Johnson, of Cross City, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Cross City Rehab & Health Care. She was 87 years old. Berta was born in Old Town, Fl and a lifetime resident. She was of Methodist faith. She is survived by her sons, A. Bernard Johnson (Anne Marie) of East Lyme, Conn. and Ronald Johnson (Cathy) of Cross City; sister, Newanna Watts of Tampa; brothers, Harold Hill of Perry, Fl and Kenneth Hill of Valdosta, GA; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 28. 2006 at 11AM at the First United Methodist Church in Cross City with Rev. Howard Grimmenga officiating. Burial will follow at the Cross City Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2006 between the hours of 6 and 8PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Cross City.
