Bernice R. Jones, age 85, died June 20, 2008, in Crystal River, FL. She was born August 16, 1922, in Vidalia, Georgia. Her family moved to Bradenton, Florida, in 1924. She arrived in Crystal River in 1972, coming from Bradenton. She was preceded in death by daughter Susan Jones Parks and grandson Chip Adams. She is survived by husband David Jones; daughters Jean Adams (Charles), Patricia Lauletta, Terri Jones Mullins; sons Phillip Jones (Karen) and Tommy Jones; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister Ollie Haynes; brothers Howard Reid, Tom Reid and Bobby Reid; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family. A memorial service will be held at Samoset First Baptist Church, Bradenton, Florida, on Saturday, June 28, at 1 PM.
