Bernice M. Jones, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., went from labor to reward Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Ala.She was a lifelong member of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Chattanooga.She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Delaney; uncle, Ellie Matthews, Jr.; and grandparents, the Rev. Ellie and Suzie Matthews.Survivors include son, the Rev. Calvin White (Deardra), Chattanooga; loving aunt, Grace A. Matthews, Sheffield, Ala.; cousins, Norma (Phillip) Boram, Atlanta, Ga., Dianne (Albert) Pope, Paducah, Ky.; Andrea G. Anderson, Detroit, Mich.; and a host of other relatives, friends and extended family.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Second Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul A. McDaniel officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon today at the Mcallie Chapel, of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Directors
