Mrs. Bernice Alloree Greene Lee, 84, of 49 Shop Drive, Fountain Inn, and formerly of Spartanburg, S.C., died Tuesday (October 3, 2006) at Summit Place.Mrs. Lee was born February 28, 1922, in Spartanburg, S.C., to the late Johnny Greene and Martha Lockheart Greene. She was educated in the Spartanburg, S.C. Schools. A homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Lee, died October 23, 1987; daughter, Dianne Lee; brothers, Jimmy Greene and Julian Greene; and a sister, Josie Abbott.Surviving include a son, Jerry Lee of Greer, S.C.; daughter, Geraldine Blessing of Middletown, Del.; daughter-in-law, Frances L. Lee of Fountain Inn; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.Graveside services were held Friday (October 6, 2006) at 2 p.m. at Cannon Memorial Park, Fountain Inn, conducted by Rev. Phil Whitt, pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Churchand Rev. Tony Beam.
