COX, Bernice K. Rowe 93, passed away peacefully Dec. 18, 2013. She was born in Alapaha, GA Jan. 22, 1920, to Issac and Myrtle Rowe. She moved to Tampa with her family at an early age and was raised here. She was preceded in death by her husband Eric E. Cox, retired pharmacist; brothers, Wilson Rowe (Vicky), Larry Rowe (Ruth); sisters, Dorothy Rey (Charlie), and Mary Audrey. She is survived by her sister, Carmen (Art) and brother, Joe (Rosalie). Also survived by her children, Betsy, Juna (Betty), Richard (Faye), Katy, Johnny (Dawn), Michael, and Peggy (Andy); grandchildren, Julie, David, Leslie, Eric, Susan, Missy, Allison, Ritchie, Katy B., Erin, James, Christine, Karen, Jo, Jeremy Diedra, Tracey, Amy; and 16 great-grandchildren. Bernice was in the first grad-uating class of Sacred Heart Academy; she also was a great Southern cook. Bernice served as president of The Mothers Club at Jesuit and Sacred Heart and as president of the State of Florida Wom-en's Auxiliary for the pharm-aceutical association. She lov-ed playing the violin (fiddle). A very special thank s to the staff at Aston Gardens who she dearly loved and Life Path Hospice who provided her with loving care in her final days. Family will be greeted at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 Himes Ave, N. at 11 am Monday, Dec. 23 and Funeral Mass at 12 pm with interment following at Garden of Mem-ories.
