Bernice Freeman Cox Bernice Freeman Cox, 87, a retired employee of the city of Tallahassee Department of Fleet Management, died Thursday, April 24, 2003. The service will be at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Forest Heights Baptist Church in Tallahassee. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. EDT until the service Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Heights Baptist Church, 1200 W. She was a member of Forest Heights. She is survived by a son, Roy L. Freeman; a daughter, Charlotte Stevens of Tallahassee; three grandchildren, Amy Stevens of Tallahassee, Jack Stevens of St. George Island and Clay Freeman; and a great-granddaughter, Sarah Beth Redlhammer of Tallahassee.
