Bernard Morrison, 89, of Deltona passed away in Daytona Beach on July 12, 2011 at Indigo Manor. He was born on June 23, 1922 in Patterson, New Jersey and moved here in 1988 from Woodbridge, NJ. He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked in retail sales. Bernard was a member of the Congregation Beth Shalom in Orange City and the American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Morrison in 2008 and daughter, Phyllis Thomas in 2000. Survivors include his daughter, Judith Bergado and her husband, Simo of Roselle Park, New Jersey; sister, Mariam Gold of New Jersey; three granddaughters, Kimberly, Stephanie and Brittany; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Brianna and Cody.
