Obituary of Bennie-Matthew Carter

Athens - Bennie Matthew Carter, 63, of Plaza St., died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Gardenview Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Athens, GA. Survivors include two brothers, Samuel L. Carter, Athens and David Carter, Jr., Chicago, IL; niece raised in the home, Sheila D. Stanley; great niece, Tabitha Shavon Hillsman; two great nephews, Damion J. Stanley and Derrick Lorenzo Watson.
