PIERCE, Bennie D., 64, of New Port Richey, passed away February 23, 2006, at Marliere Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey. Born December 11, 1941, he came to Florida 37 years ago from his native Wilmington, N.C. He was a retired electrician and an Army veteran. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Worship Center. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sammie; sons, Rhuben Gause of Lakeland and Eddie Gause of New Port Richey; daughters, Gwen Shivley of Holiday and Becca Hunziker of Greeley, Colo.; a sister, Yvonne Spivey of Wilmington; and 15 grandchildren.
