Ben Tillman Johnson, 87, of 429 McGraw Road, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. A native of Cherokee, he was a son of the late Clarence and Maggie Thorn Johnson. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Survivors: Wife, Roey Horne Johnson; a daughter, Rosie Cash, of Cowpens; a son, Leroy Johnson, of Gaffney; a brother, Paul Johnson, of Gaffney; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
