Obituary of Beatrice-M. Carter

MANCHESTER - Beatrice Marie Carter, 91, died Oct. 6, 2013, at Hanover Hill Nursing Home surrounded by her son Jeffrey Carter, grandson Brian Carter, and friends. She was born in Manchester on March 11, 1922, the daughter of Leon and Emilie (Landry) Biscornet and had been a lifelong resident of this city. She attended Manchester Central High School. Mrs. Carter was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Church. Members of her family include a son, Jeffrey Carter of Manchester; a daughter, Cynthia Gundloff of Vacaville, Calif.; a brother, Maurice Payment, of Manchester; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. . SERVICES: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, Belmont Street.
