Beatrice Carter, 73, Port Charlotte, died July 29, 2003. She was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Harrisburg, Pa., and came to Port Charlotte in 1987 from Milton, Del. She was a retired switchboard operator for Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Del. She was Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Dale; daughters Georginna Pendexter of Port Charlotte and Angela Sanderson of Port Charlotte; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
