Beatrice Adams Scott, 87, former resident of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012. Beatrice was born in New Rochelle, N.Y. She and her late husband Harry moved to the area in 1991 from Stuart, Fla. She was a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach, and a former member of Sugar Mill Country Club. She was an accomplished artist in the water colors medium, a member of the Artists' Workshop in New Smyrna Beach and Lighthouse Gallery in Stuart, Fla. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, David and wife, Judy Scott, of Tampa, Fla., James and wife, Barbara Scott, of Edgewater, Fla., Thomas and wife, Margarida Scott, of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Scott of New Smyrna Beach, Jonas B. Scott of Oregon, and Jordan D. Scott of New York City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B Scott.
