Barzilla Irene Smith SPARTANBURG, SC-- Barzilla Irene Lloyd Smith, 64, of Spartanburg, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at her home. Born November 15, 1947, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Columbus and Edith Faye Ramsey Lloyd. She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church and was employed by Kangaroo for over 20 years. Survivors include her beloved husband of 46 years, Jesse L. Smith Sr.; son, Jesse L. Smith Jr. and wife Michelle of Roebuck; daughters, Teresa Carroll and husband Chris of Inman, and Karen Smith and fiancé Troy Gibson of Spartanburg; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ann Cartee of Spartanburg. Visitation will be 7:00-8:30 PM Friday, May 25, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, by the Rev. Henry Guyton. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
