Barbara Ann Freeman White - TYBEE ISLAND - Barbara Ann Freeman White, 77, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Candler Hospital. Mrs. White was born in Brunson, South Carolina and lived most of her adult life in Port Wentworth and Garden City prior to moving to Tybee Island. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Mrs. White was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her husband, Jack Avery White, preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Ann Scott (Jim) and Sharon Hohenstein (Joe) of Savannah; Debra Stephens (Dan) currently living in Moscow, ID; one son, Dr. John Leihugh Moseley (Laura) of Griffin, GA; step-son, Dennis A. White of Folkston, GA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
