Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Barbara Ann Goodwin Watts, 70, Gadsden, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27. 2010. Bro. Kelton Williams will officiate. Burial will be at Noble Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing."Mother was a special lady and mentor who touched many people's lives through her kindness, generosity and unselfish heart. Oh mother, how lost we are without you. Death is not a period, just a comma." Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by Bobby Watts and Sheila Kelley; and also by her siblings, Jean, Sherry and Roy. Survivors: daughters, Kim Watts, Gadsden, and April Watts Ozbilgin, Rainbow City; son, David (Juanita) Watts, Attalla; brother, James (Peggy) Goodwin, Hattiesburg, Miss.; grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) McGettigan, T.J. (Melissa) Watts, David (Chasity) Watts, Misty Watts, Billy Jack Kelley, Stella Ozbilgin and Chi Chi Watts; great-grandchildren, Keegan McGettigan, Nick Watts, Jacob Watts, Gavin Kelley, Elijah, Isiah Watts; aunt, Louise (James) Blackwell; special sister and niece, Sandra Jones and Donna Robinson; best friend, Joyce Self; sisters-in-law, Joan, Imogene, Judy, Linda, Hilda, Lois, Mary and Saratha; and brother-in-law, Reese. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, distant family members, friends and a special church family at Ivalee Baptist Church. Pallbearers: Anthony Goodwin, Danny Kimbril, Ray Frith, Michael Ferraro, Jack Steapleton, Maurice Alhegazen, Elton Goodwin and Robert Lunceford. Honorary pallbearers: Billy Turner, Dr. David Wilhelm and Mackey Self. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
