MOTT, Barbara Rose Essex 66, died Saturday, June 26, 2010. She was born on Sept.12, 1943 in St. Petersburg. She graduated from St. Paul's Catholic High School, SPJC and The University of South Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosalie E. Lee and Harlan E. Essex, as well as her sister, Patricia Wiedner. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Robert B. Mott, Dade City; and grateful children, Robert E. (Cyndi) Mott, Lithia, FL, Rosalie (Dennis) Daca, Racine, WI, William M. Mott, St. Petersburg, Melinda (Thomas) Kiefer, Janesville, WI, Barbara Lee Mott, St. Petersburg, and James F. Mott, St. Petersburg. Barbara was a doting & generous grandmother to Robert Mott, James Mott, Haley Mott, Alexander & Quinlan Kiefer & Hayden Daca. She was a history enthusiast, avid gardener and a proud fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. All who knew her loved her for her ability to protect, nurture & support them in all of life's pursuits. Barbara's angelic presence will be missed by so many, but comfort will be found in knowing that she will continue loving us from above. There will be a visitation on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 11am-12pm, with a service to follow at 12pm at the 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N location.
