Barbara Jane RobinsonBarbara Jane Robinson entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2012 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Pensacola, Florida on September 7, 1936 to Leroy and Esther Robinson. She attended school at Drummond Park and Bay High School in Panama City and graduated from Pensacola High School in Pensacola, FL class of 1955.She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee and received her associates degree. Barbara was a state employee for 30 years and retired as a bureau chief in the Department of Elections. A member of Bradfordville First Baptist Church, Florida State Extra Point Club, the Hallmark Club, and an advocate for breast cancer.Her joy for many years was holiday spirit and the decor she displayed shared with her family and friends in her Christmas fantasy home. Her total passion was Florida State, always a true and dedicated fan. She is survived by her sisters from Panama City, Betty Joyce Weeks husband Charlie-children Cynthia, James, Robert, and Richard.Their grandchildren James, Megan, Hunter, Samira, and Sabrina. Joanne Douglass husband Bill-children Billy, Ginger, Marion, Pamela, Esther, and Deborah their grandchildren Brian, Lenny, Allen, Ashley, Sarah, Hannah, Sidney, Dana, and Nicole.
