Barbara R. Casey, died Aug. 20, 2010, at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late James D. Casey. Born Barbara Ruth Loveland, in Grand Rapids, Mich., she was one of three sisters Patricia Smits and the late Norma Sandel. She married Fred Carritte and had two sons, Fred Carritte Jr.(deceased) and Bryan A. Carritte of Naples, Fla.. Later she married James D. Casey and moved to Plymouth where they made their home for the past forty years. An accomplished organist and pianist, she played at Tassys Restaurant in Kingston back in the seventies and eightys, along with various functions and churches throughout the Plymouth County area music was her life. In addition to her son and sister Barbara, is survived by her stepdaughters, Julia (Neddie) Barnard of Scituate and Betsy Howard of Vermont. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Aug. 24, at the Church of St. Peter, Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Visiting hour will be held before the Mass, 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (Rte. 3A), N.
