BROWN, BARBARA PALMER, 72, of Louisville passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Norton Suburban Hospital after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was the daughter of the late Mary "Lou" Palmer, and graduated from Presentation Academy, Class of "57". She worked in medical records at Norton Healthcare, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Greg D. Brown. She is survived by her children, Kim Brown Knopf (Ken) of Charleston W.V.; Jerry (Linda), George Keenan (Janie), and Shannon Stargel (Tracy); a sister, Lois Roberts (Eddie); and ten grandchildren. Her Funeral Mass will be noon Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E. Washington Street with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-7p.m. Sunday and 9-11:30 a.m. Monday at Ratterman's 3711 Lexington Road. Memorial gifts in Barbara's memory may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
