Barbara Partlow Moore, 71, of Oneonta, Ala., passed away on November 5, 2014, at her residence. She retired from Ashville Savings Bank (BB&T) as Senior Vice President after 30 years, was a church member of Bethlehem Baptist of Gallant, Ala., was the church pianist for many years and enjoyed traveling, enjoyed going to watch her grandson play ball. Preceding her in death were her parents, Rev. Jack and Ruth Beam Partlow; sister, Patricia Baugh; and brothers, Darrell and Phillip Partlow. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ralph Moore; daughter, Carol Moore Cardwell (Kim); and grandson, Tyler Cardwell all of Straight Mountain; sisters, Jeannie Griggs of Ashville and Karen Clayton (Michael) of Attalla; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gallant. She will lie in state prior to the service from noon until service time. Rev. Albert Morgan and Rev. Glenn Stansell will officiate the service with burial to follow in Union Hill Nazarene Cemetery in Oneonta, Ala. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Cardwell, Ray McClendon, Jan Hathcock, Darrell Beard, Elwyn Thomas and Willard Moore. Lemley Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
