Obituary of Barbara-Montgomery Davis


DAVIS Barbara Montgomery Davis, 84, died July 29, 2005 at the Morris Center of Community Hospice. She was born January 8, 1921, in Waltham, MA. Barbara was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Concord, MA and Christ Episcopal Church of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She was a former member of Emerson Hospital Aux., American Red Cross the Concord Chapter, Concord Country Club and Suntree Country Club, Melbourne, FL and a former member and past president of Inde-Cott Garden Club. Family members include her sons, Warren Frederick Davis, Jr. of Milford, MA and Kirk E. Davis of Okatie, SC; grandchildren, Robert A Davis of Northfield, VT and Jefferson C. Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Greyson, Madelynn and Callum; sister, Elvira Fitzsimmons of Martsons Mills, MA and her two cats, Chip and Ernie. Her husband, Warren F. Davis, predeceased her in 1998. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13th, in the Cypress Village Chapel followed by a reception. Interment will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 29th in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morris Center of Community Hospice, 653 West 8th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
