Age 50, in Allegany, NY, June 2, 2003, wife of the Reverend Dr. Daniel H. McKee; daughter of Josephine of Tacoma, WA; sister to Lloyd Lowe of Seattle, WA, Robert Lowe of Yelm, WA and Sharon Lee Weldon of Eugene, OR; also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. Mrs. Carr McKee joined St. Bonaventure University's advancement staff in August, 1987, rising to her current position as Director of Major Gifts in 1999. She began her career at her alma mater, the University of Missouri-Columbia, as Coordinator of Development and Research in 1985. She was an active volunteer in community organizations, the arts and faith ministries. Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM in Doyle Hall, St. Bonaventure University. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 AM in the University Chapel. She will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Barbara Carr McKee Endowment Fund at St. Bonaventure University.
