Untitled BARBARA LEE ROWLAND 1937 - 2009 Barbara Lee (Spain) Rowland, 72, passed away on November 22, 2009 under the loving care of Covenant Hospice of Pensacola. Barbara was born in Dallas and her professional life included accounting and finance for the city of Pensacola and secretarial work at UWF. She enjoyed reading, going to movies, and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, David J. Rowland; sons, Col. David Morrison of Centreville, VA and Andrew Alton Morrison of Tallahassee; daughter, Debi Beaumont of Pensacola; nephews, Lynn Spain of Houston and Brian Spain of Ft. Worth; niece, Sherry Pugh of Dallas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice.
