Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Parkertown. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.Mrs. Hooper, who died Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at her residence, was born June 3, 1943, in Moulton to Walter and Inas Lowery. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. She retired from the State of Alabama.Survivors include her husband, James C. "Jim" Hooper; one son, Steffan deGraffenried; one daughter, Regina Wimberley; one stepson, Gene Hill; three brothers, James H. Lowery, John W. Lowery and Jim R. Lowery; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
