Obituary of Barbara-Kate-Hargis Cox

EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Barbara Kate Hargis Cox, 91, of Lanham Road, entered into rest Friday, October 17, 2008, after an extended illness, at her residence. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008, at 12:00 Noon in Sunset Memory Gardens with Mr. Carl Cox officiating. Mrs. Cox was a native of Grundy County, TN, a former resident of Graniteville, having made Edgefield her home. She was a member of the Aiken Church of Christ. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Earl Cox; a son, Robert (R.E.) Cox, Sr. and an infant daughter, Dorothy Marie Cox. Survivors include one son, Carl Thomas Cox, Sr., Clearwater; one daughter, Barbara Faye Cox Gunter, Edgefield; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
