ROBINSON, Barbara Joan April 29, 1949 - July 29, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Barbara, in the presence of her loving family on July 29th, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Norman McLeod, Barbara is survived by her mother Grace McLeod who took such extraordinary care of her these past 6 months, her daughters Tamarah and Nadine, her sister Judy, brother-in-law Paul, and their children Ashly, Nick and Michael, her son-in-law Mike, and her 2 grandsons, Rylan and Leif. Barbara grew up in North Vancouver and lived the past 30 years in West Vancouver where she recently retired from the Engineering Department at the District of West Vancouver. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. We'd like to thank all her many friends for their wonderful friendship and incredible support over the past year. Special thanks for the care provided by Dr. Jenny Shaw and Dr. Sasha Smiljanic and the palliative teams at Lions Gate Hospital and VGH. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Thursday, August 5th at 2pm at Gleneagles Golf Club in West Vancouver, please join us. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favourite charity.
