Barbara Joan BrownDecaturMemorial service for Barbara Joan Brown, 77, will be Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Miss Brown died August 18, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born February 9, 1933, in Michigan to Hebert Tonkins Brown and Gladys E. Luke Brown. She retired from Wolverine Tube after 44 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Nicholas Brown.Survivors include eight nieces and nephews and many friends.Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Wesley United Methodist Church, and Committed on Church Corporation.Roselawn Funeral Home assisted the family.
