Barbara-Jean Wheeler, died on February 1, 2014.
Our beloved Barbara Jean Wheeler, at the grand age of 91, happily joined her creator and her many loved ones already in the spirit realm the morning of Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. Born in Flint, Mich., she raised her four children on beautiful Lake Fenton. Creating many unique and special memories for them. With all of them out of the house she relocated to Homestead Florida from 1975 to 1986 until she lived her last 25 years in Andrews N. Carolina. She was an extremely talented artist in many fields; creating oil paintings, water colors, pottery, china painting and sewing. If you were to describe her with one word, it would be love. Barbara volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, member of the art club, garden club of Homestead and the County youth fair. Children left here to cherish her memory are Judi Day of Chino, Calif.; James Nielsen of Downey, Calif.; Jan Paulson of Beverly Hills, Fla.; and Linda Leineke of Andrews; and her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were always in her thoughts. A celebration of her life will held Sunday at her granddaughter Jill Glisson's residence 33450 sw 210 Avenue Homestead Florida at 5:30pm for friends and family members. In lieu of flowers or donations, your sending God's peace and love to those she left behind would be what she would most want.
