Barbara Jean Halm, 79, died July 17, 2011. She was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and moved to Fort Pierce in 1977. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach. Survivors include her son, Daniel Halm of Fort Pierce; brother, Robert Kirchner of Baltimore; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Halm; and daughter, Juliann Halm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dogs & Cats Forever, P.O. Box 880043, Port St. Lucie, FL 34988. Services: Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. July 20 with a service to follow at 11 a.m. at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in White City Cemetery.
