CONNOLLY, Barbara Jean RitchieJuly 1, 1926 - July 9, 2014It is with great sadness that we announce her passing in the early hours of July the 9th in her eighty-eighth year. Beloved daughter of the late Dr. Willliam Lloyd Ritchie and Gladys Morley Ritchie. Survived by her beloved son Dr. W.E.S. Connolly (Ted) and her two daughters Lisa Mary and Diana Elizabeth (Jeremy Porteous) and her grandchildren Victoria (Brad Westlake), Bobby Connolly (Ernesto Maldonado) and Christine Mary and Alexandra and Nicholas Porteous. In addition, her late sisters Betty Fields and Maryon Cassidy and her nieces Judy Von Colditz (Jody and Christopher) and Sandy Bolton (Andrew, Sarah and Philip Bolton) and many friends. The Service is to be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex on Monday, July 14 at 2 p.m. in the chapel and a Reception to follow. Many thanks to the tireless and outstanding care from the staff at Fulford Residence and a very special thanks to Helen Bekit, who spent endless hours caring for our mother.
