CARTER, Barbara Jean 85, of Tampa, was called to her heavenly Father's side Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She married Russell C. Carter July 19, 1945 and they lived in Jacksonville, before relocating to Tampa in 1970. Barbara excelled in her professional life while working as a realtor for the Tam-Bay Realty. She received multiple accolades for her sales volume and was always known for her honesty and ability. She was a loving Christian wife & mother and was adored by all whose lives she touched. Barbara was a wonderful asset to each church Russell pastored and was an active member of the congregations. Barbara is survived by three children, Jean Sinnett and Bob Carter of Winter Haven and Jim Carter of Tampa. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 1 pm, service at 2 pm, both at Sheldon Road Baptist Church on July 28th. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Barbara's name to Sheldon Road Baptist Church.
