Barbara J. Hillof Lawrence, formerly of Lowell,loving mother, grandmother, and sister; 55 LAWRENCE -- Mrs. Barbara J. (Lipsey) Hill, of Lawrence, formerly of Lowell, died September 13, 2010 unexpectedly, in Lawrence, age 55 years.Born in Cambridge, England, January 22, 1955, the daughter of the late Edwin M. and Kathleen (Broderick) Lipsey. She received her early education in the Lowell School System.Barbara was a Home Health Aide with the Blair House in Tewksbury, before illness forced her retirement.She loved to walk the beach, and spend time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.She will be missed by her family and many friends.Survived by her loving son and his wife, Ronald L. Hill and Nicole of Saco, Maine; two devoted daughters, Melissa Hill of Lawrence, MA, and Amanda Hill of Peabody, MA; six beloved grandchildren, Michaela, Madeline, Rachel, Nora, Ronnie, and Justin; one great-granddaughter, Ava; three sisters, Linda Diamantopoulos of Lowell, Carol Keith and her husband, Richard of Texas, and Charlotte Barrera and her husband, Anthony, also of Texas; two brothers, Edwin Lipsey and his wife, Janne of Tennesse, and Corey Lipsey of Texas; three step brothers, James Lipsey, John Lipsey and his wife, Becky, and William Lipsey, all of Texas; a dear friend, Katie Souris of Methuen; also by several nieces and nephews, and friends.HILL -- in Lawrence, September 13, 2010.
