Barbara J. Brown, age 81, Ormond Beach, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 after a brief illness. Originally from Schenectady, NY, she moved here in 1976 from Syracuse. She was married for 56 years to the late Merle Brown, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her four sons, Merle, William, Patrick, Gard; daughter, Donna; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. There will be a private service. Broadus Raines Funeral Home of Green Cove Springs is in charge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Jimmy Fund.
