Barbara J. (Brown) Lachance, 65 of 100 Front Street, Woonsocket died Sunday, August 28, 2005 at home. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Lachance. Born in Milford, Ma on January 27, 1940 a daughter of the late Harold and Bertha (Blanchard) Brown. Mrs Lachance worked as a cashier for Market Basket in Bellingham, Ma from 1997-2001. Previously she worked at Eagle Stainless Steel Mfg in Bellingham. She lived in the greater Woonsocket area most of her life. She is a member of Crepeau Court Social Club. She is survived by four sons, John and Jeffrey Lachance in Woonsocket, Joseph Lachance in North Smithfield and James Lachance of Cranston, two daughters, Debra Lachance of Woonsocket and Diana Lachance of Blackstone, Ma. six grandchildren and a great grand daughter. She was the sister of the late Robert and William Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday September 10, 2005 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.,New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, Ma. 01701.
