Obituary of Barbara Hall


Barbara Hall, age 76, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Friday, July 16.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hall; parents, Morris and Mary Dell Demps; and brother, Dennis Demps.She retired from Redstone Arsenal Hawk Missile Command after 30 years of service.She is survived by Morris Clay and Deanna Hall, of Decatur, Ala.; daughter, Pamela and Bill Napier, of Chatsworth; brother, Floyd and Stacy Demps, of Sparta, Tenn.; sisters, Jackie Reed, of Huntsville, Ala., April and John Smith, of Sparta, Tenn.; stepmother, Evelyn Demps, of Sparta, Tenn.; niece, Debbie and Pat Batson; nephew, Dee and Donna Reed; great-nephews, Nathan and Daniel Reed; nine grandchildren, Clay Hall, Billy Napier, Heather Provence, Matt Napier, Kurt Napier, Meg Hall, Whitney Napier, Kayla Maness and John Maness; two great-grandchildren, Jett Napier and Bear Napier.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 18, from First Baptist Church of Chatsworth, with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Jeremy Collums officiating.Pallbearers will be Dee Reed, Floyd Demps, Clay Hall, Billy Napier, Matt Napier and Kurt Napier.The family received friends 6-9 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Jones Funeral Home.Condolences may be offered at jjonesfuneralhome.com.Jones Funeral Home, of Chatsworth, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
