December 21, 2005 Barbara H. May, 78, of N. Syracuse, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Wednesday with all her children by her side. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Barbara was a former long distance operator with New York Telephone; the Wagon Wheel and the American Legion Valley Post. Barbara's husband of 43 years, Charles F. May Jr., passed away in 1996. Surviving are two sons, Gregory May and Brian May, both of Cicero; four daughters, Joy (Donald) VanDusen of Liverpool, Helen (James) Knipp of W. Monroe, Robin (Dennis) Hillpot of Pennellville, Paula (Daniel) Coleman of N. Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Burton Wright of Baldwinsville, Raymond Wright of Florida, Peter Wright of North Carolina; a sister, Susan Wright of Cicero; her aunt, Jane Linder of Oswego; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel St., Liverpool. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2005, at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made to St. Paul's Church.
