Barbara Gunter Hall MADISON, TN-- Barbara Ann "Babs" Gunter Hall, 62, of Madison, TN, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Centennial Medical Center. Born February 14, 1949, in Auburn, AL, she was the daughter of the late Robert Burke and Jeanne Reitz Gunter, and wife of the late John Robert Hall. Mrs. Hall graduated from Spartanburg High School, attended Clemson University, and graduated from Medical College of South Carolina. She was retired as a retail pharmacist. Survivors include a sister, Mary Lee Gunter Hayes and husband Charles of Spartanburg; brothers, Robert Burke Gunter, Jr. and wife Gwen of Grayson, GA, and George Rivers Gunter of Spartanburg; nephews, Michael Caleb Gunter of Atlanta, GA, Joshua Ernest Hayes and Robert Allen Hayes, both of Spartanburg. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, June 27, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dr. Tom Malone. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 438 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or to a charity of one's choice. The family is at the home of her sister, Mary Lee and Charles Hayes, 541 Lucerne Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
