TOBIN, BARBARA GAIL - 1946-2007 The Tobin family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their Mother and Grandmother, who passed away at the Moncton City Hospital following a very brief illness on Monday, January 1st, 2007. Barbara Gail Tobin (née Wilson) was born in Montreal, QC on April 2nd, 1946. She was the oldest child of Herbert and Iris Wilson (née Stack) both of whom are now deceased. After completing High School at Holy Cross Academy in Montreal, Barbara went to work for the Northern Electric Company where she became an electronic relay inspector. The family moved to Fredericton, NB, in 1980 where Barbara settled into the role of housewife and mother. She returned to the workforce in the early 1990's while at the same time attending courses at the University of New Brunswick. At the time of her passing, she was employed by MacDonald's Restaurants in Fredericton. Among her many talents was her passion for the many forms of craft making she so enjoyed working at for her children and grandchildren. Momma will be terribly missed by her children, Stefan (Annette), Barbie (Dean), Khristopher (Kerry), Karl (Kristy), Kimberley and Tara; and by her loving grandchildren, Katerina, Alex, Alexis, Justin, Carter, Michael, Evelina, Leigh, Jonathon, and Ethan. She will also be missed by her former husband, Sean with whom she remained a friend throughout the years following their divorce. She will also be missed by her brother, Ronny (Danielle); her sisters, Phyllis and Lisa all living in Quebec, her sister Lynn of Florida; her foster brother, Billy of Ontario; and by several Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and Nieces. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Passage Funeral Cooperative. The family will receive friends and acquaintances at St. Augustine's Church located at 340 Dominion Street on Thursday, January 4th, 2007 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be a parish prayer at 8:30pm. We, her Family, invite all our friends and acquaintances to join us in the celebration of her life's journey at a Mass to be held in St. Augustine's Church, 340 Dominion Street on Friday, January 5th, 2007 at 10:00am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating.
