Obituary of Barbara-Frances Clark


COPELAND, BARBARA FRANCES. – of Saint John, passed away at the SJRH on October 6, 2006. She was born in Battersea, London, England and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace (Paddy) Clark. Barbara was employed for many years as a Secretary at the General Hospital and the Saint John Dry Dock. She was very active in many musicals and loved to sing, sew tapestries, knit and play scrabble. Barbara resided at the Loch Lomond Villa nursing home for the past six years and the family wish to extend their thanks and appreciation for the care of our Mother. Barbara is survived by her six children, Susan Crouse (Gordon), Christopher Copeland (Carol), Janet Fowler (late Michael), Carol Copeland (Jim), Gillian Rowley (Walter) and Keith Copeland (Bonnie). Also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. At Barbara's request there will be no visiting however, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 1:00pm in Cavanagh's Chapel followed by internment in Fernhill cemetery. Donations to the Loch Lomond Villa Building Fund, 185 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, NB, E2J 3S3 would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to A. W.
