-> Barbara Frain Williams, 71, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 while visiting her daughter in Atlanta. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a 1950 graduate of St. Vincents Academy and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She retired from the Savannah Chatham County Public School System after more than 22 years of service at Savannah High School. Survivors: sons and a daughter-in-law, John A. "Bubba" Williams, Jr. of Gray, GA and Stephen J. and Angela P. Williams of Savannah; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Terry Shelton of Snellville, Barbara and Jack Barnett of Minneapolis, MN, Therese and Tim Shaffer, and Karen Williams, all of Savannah; a brother, William J. Frain, III of Greensboro, GA; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery.
