Barbara Ellen Hill Parker-Smith was born Feb. 27, 1946, in Kentucky. Barbara died on Nov. 22, 2012, after a three-year battle with cancer. She was a 30-year resident of Hall County, and a retiree of Equifax in Atlanta.Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Lee Hill; and her son, Brad Parker. Barbara is survived by her husband, Vernon Smith III; her daughter, Amber Davis; her sisters, Pat Bryson, Betty Livingston; and her brother, Bobby Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cody and Candice Parker, Leah Davis, and Kelly Davis-Kimball; and great-grandchild, Jeffery Kimball.Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford.
