Barbara Smith Collins - JACKSONVILLE , FL - Barbara Smith Collins, 87, passed away August 25, 2014. She was born in Chicago, IL, July 4, 1927. She has lived in FL for the past 15 years. She enjoyed life and traveling with her late husband, DG Red Collins. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Susie (John) Nowak of CA; sons, Rocky Collins of UT and Chris (Heather) Collins of CA; five grandchildren; brothers, Brad (Judy) Smith of IL and Wilson (Judith) Smith of CA; and sister-in-law, Bea Smith of IA. Barbara left the family with this thought, What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us. Private family services will be held.
