Obituary of Barbara-Caruso Carter

CARTER Barbara Caruso Carter, age 59, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late David A. Carter, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Mrs. Carter was born in New York City on June 14, 1946, to the late Anthony and Grace Miller Caruso and was a lifelong Norwalk resident prior to moving to Shelton three years ago. She was the treasurer at Bridge House in Bridgeport. Survivors include her son, Anthony S. Jackson (Nicole) of Milford; a daughter, Victoria A. Jackson of Shelton; two brothers, Anthony Caruso Jr. of Bethel and Peter Caruso of Norwalk; a sister, Jo-Ann Caruso of Norwalk; her former husband, Louis H. Jackson of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend memorial funeral services and burial on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Temple Shalom Cemetery, Norwalk. The Gregory F, Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, has been entrusted with the arrangements
