Barbara C. Hooper (nee Hazlegrove) Gilbert, AZ / Highland, IN Barbara C. Hooper (nee Hazlegrove), age 69, of Gilbert, AZ, formerly of Highland, IN, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene R. Hooper; son, Michael Gene (Dawn) Hooper of Griffith, IN; daughter, Priscilla Carol (Roby) Kotcamp of Phoenix, AZ; two granddaughters: Vanessa Lynn Hooper of Boulder City, NV and Ashley Nichole Hooper of Griffith, IN; one brother, Thomas Ray (Marta) of Whiteville, TN; one sister, Myrtle Walk of Lake Station; sister-in-law, Anna Rachel (Earl) Walters of Mt. Juliet, TN and Anne Henson of West Palm Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Floyd and Louise Hazlegrove; brother, Billy Gene Hazlegrove; and sister, Frances Bryant. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Highland, IN. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Highland, 9516 Kennedy Ave. with Pastor Fred Standridge officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
